FROM THE ARTIST

I have named my collection "Dance". The inspiration for this collection came from the shapes that appear in the Turkish coffee cup. I decided to use these shapes in the form of different colors and textures in my artwork. I intended in this collection for the dancers to express themselves freely and to manifest their freedom in their dance. It is my view that music and dance are one of the most beautiful artform. I decided to convey the freedom and beauty of this artform to the viewer by spreading colors, and even in some of the pieces actual Turkish coffee grounds, on the canvas.
