Handirubvi is a Zimbabwean-American artist currently based in Maryland. She explores notions of belonging and identity to depict a series of visual narratives that have shaped her culturally. Her process involves the investigation of people using the experiences of others as well as her own to create images that are relatable and inclusive where people are able to see themselves and others in a positive light.
