The Modern Muse is a photographic series captured over several years by analog photographer Redeat Wondemu, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Through intimate black-and-white portraits, Wondemu reveals the individuality, strength, and quiet beauty of each woman photographed—highlighting their personal histories through gesture, expression, and presence. Presented in small-scale platinum palladium prints, the works invite close, contemplative viewing and offer a window into each sitter’s inner world.
