QUAINT BAKE SHOP WITH A FULL RANGE OF SWEETS PLUS MADE-TO-ORDER CAKES

We make sure our treats have a home baked feel, using only the freshest ingredients and baking everything from scratch. We never take short cuts by using cake mixes or ready-made frostings because anything mass-produced lacks the love that home-style baking is known for. From brownies and lemon bars, to various cupcakes, cheesecakes, pies, cookies and layered cakes, there is something for everyone! Call or just stop-in. All orders are for pick-up only.

ABOUT MOLLY FITZGERALD

Washington, D.C. based @ColorTellaVisions LLC (artist Molly Fitzgerald) explores the use of color to transform mood, brighten physical space, spark imagination, inspire creative and new ways of thinking or seeing, and to promote positive change. Her "ColorTellaVisions "moodle" mood Boards" employ individually painted moveable hexagonal and other shaped wooden pieces magnetically attached to the board, allowing the viewer to interact with the colors and design as a mood enhancing and imagination sparking way to “tell a vision.” The mood boards reflect her decades long work and training in public health and more recent use of human centered design for collaborative, multidisciplinary problem solving of complex social and public health issues. Her abstract pieces sometimes reflect a dreamy escape; others depict a process of reimagining chaos to inspire a new vision or creative solutions. Her jewelry or “mini-paintings” use as their canvas recycled business cards or other paper (empty Covid test kit boxes, for example or food packaging!) A key aspect of her ColorTellaVisions LLC work is to support a healthy, just community through art and donations from art in support of these goals.
